The word Fouta designates a kind of cloth which slaves and poor women used as clothing to cover their natural parts and thighs.

Then this fabric became famous when a Berber queen discovered it in slave women and decided to wear it using noble materials such as pure silk, cotton, linen

And beyond the Fouta became a product worn by Berber women as an accessory and men also tied around the hips and falling to the knees.

Today the Fouta is used both as a bath towel but also as a beach sarong, beach towel, bed pier, tablecloths ... It exists in several models and several colors.

The fouta are also available in a bathrobe, a small guest towel, and even a beach bag or beach dress. You can also find double-sided foutas, with a cotton face and a sponge face
